Synthese zweifach-koordinierter, quasilinearer Übergangsmetall(II/I)-Komplexe

The present work deals with the synthesis and reactivity of the young and relatively unexplored substance class of (quasi-)linear 3d-metal(I) complexes. Due to the electronically and coordinatively unsaturated metal centers, the compounds are highly reactive as demonstrated in initial studies based on their reactivity towards small molecules and substrates. Insights into their magnetic behavior also indicate promising potential. However, only rare examples have been described in literature so far. This work contributes to the general understanding of the structural as well as magnetic properties and reactivities of silylamide-based metal(I) complexes and their metal(II) precursors. In addition, the spectrum of linear 3d metal(II) complexes has been extended to a complex with a phosphorus-based ligand system.
