The intention of these studies was to modify the surface of selected industrial anodized aluminum parts via different methods. To measure up different aspects and demands, these studies have been proved more than one coating method. First, the deposition of thin films via dip coating, and secondly, the deposition of nanofibers via electrospinning. Additionally, electro spray was used as coating method. In addition to uniform and inexpensive surface coatings via dip coating, which completely seals the nanoporous alumina surface, nanofiber-coatings lead into a functionalized surface without completely inhibited access to the nanoporous anodic alumina surface.
