This thesis is about modelling and animation of computer generated plants. It emphasises the combination of the two topics modelling and animation. The main goal is to have a system, which supports good modelling of the plants and the animation. From the beginning the efficiency of all ideas and algorithms was very important, specially for the combination of computer generated plants and virtual worlds.
