Sumario:Binary Zintl anions of the tetrel and pentel elements have been synthesized. The work's focus is on the synthesis and derivatization of Zintl anions and multi-metallic clusters of the elemental combinations of germanium/phosphorus and germanium/arsenic. Novel binary Zintl anions and multi-metallic clusters with the elements vanadium, niobium, tantalum, and cadmium are presented.
