Descripció
Sumari:The study was intended to achieve covalent fixation of self-assembled monolayers on metal oxide surfaces, in particular rutile titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (ZnO), and to distinguish the microscopic character of their linkage. The results obtained confirm the importance of a detailed, comprehensive analysis of such experiments. The main achievement of this work is a very profound investigation of the influence of preparation pathways as well as stru cture of supporting substrates on the resulting thin film quality and stability. Many essential issues crucial for the attachment of PA-based SAMs on metal oxide surfaces were addressed for the first time in this work. Obtained results reveal possibilities for further investigations of some phenomena.
