Even if no direct quotations from Zarathuštras Gathas are available in the Zostrianos of Nag Hammadi, so a clear zervanistical adaptation in the form of the paraphrase, in which Persian theology in the Hellenism is recepted, is recognizable in the Zostrianos however. The Persian influences on the baptist-groups reach back until in their foundation-time and are coupled from outset with pythagorean, stoical and Babylonian influences. These are absorbed since the exile over the Babylonian and Persian diaspora-jewry. In the goddesses of the Sethianism Phoenician fertility-goddesses and Egyptian goddesses like Maat, Nut and Isis, mediated over the Jewish wisdom-goddess Sophia, are recognizable. The pre-socratic philosophers and the Platonic academy intensively had studied with zervanistical theology and assumed it into the bases of their systems. With the Platonizing structures of the zervanistical Zoroastrism therefore reach in sethianian writings also. The roots of the old-Persian belief lies in the dead person-belief of the Indo-European Kurgan-culture, whose Schamanism has shaped the Persian magicians decisively. Consequently, the shaman-rituals are the first origins of the heaven-journeys.
