The Fasciitis plantaris is a painful inflammation of the origin of the button of the feed. There are conservative treatment forms, surgical therapy methods and the treatment with Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT). The gaint analysis is considered as an objective method to describe changing’s of the gaint. In the here available work a possible gaint image changing should be described after a therapy with ESWT using a run-bound. In a further step it should be tried, to compare the gaint image changing with the subjective condition. 30 patients were taken and analysed with a run-bound. After that we compared the the gaint changes with a subjective pain score. The pain score reflects the subjective pain event of the patient in a point value of 1 (very well), 2 (well), 3 (satisfying) to 4 (badly). The confrontation showed pronounced improvements in the gaint pictures of all patients, who had during the re-examination the pain score of 1-2. Only small improvements could be observed at patients, with a pain score of 3-4. Due to these realizations the ESWT was classified as an ineffective therapy for patients with chronic plantar Fasciitis.
