Interventionsradiologische Behandlung akuter Blutungen

For many years the catheter-supported embolization represents a valuable alternative to the open surgical treatment with patients with massive arterial bleedings. The embolization is to offer above all the advantage of a smaller perioperative morbidity and mortality compared with the alternative treatment forms. Histoacryl as liquid material for embolization, is more difficult to handle than superselective embolization materials, offers however the advantage of the safe and immediate vascular occlusion independent to the coagulating situation. This study is to present and emphasize the value of Histoacryl as embolizate. The study investigates the therapeutical success of acute internal arterial bleedings by means of embolization of patients of the Marburg Universitätsklinikum
