Zusammenfassung:
Die endogene Wachstumstheorie und die Theorie der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung überlagern sich stark. Sie geben komplementäre Handlungsempfehlungen an die Entwicklungspolitik zur Förderung des wirtschaftlichen Wachstums und der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung und betonen dabei Humankapital und Unternehmertum. Empirisch wurde gezeigt, dass sich die jordanische Entwicklungspolitik stark mit diesen Handlungsempfehlungen überschneidet. Jordanien fördert Humankapital und Unternehmertum durch verschiedene Programme und Initiativen und betont dabei erfolgreich das Bildungssystem. Jordanien zeigt, dass trotz finanzieller Schwächen Wachstum und Entwicklung möglich sind, wenn man Wissen und Humankapital fördert. Dennoch weist Jordanien viele Hindernisse auf, die die weitere Entwicklung von Humankapital und Unternehmertum erschweren und beeinträchtigen. Durch das Konzept „Konstruktion einer neuen unternehmerischen Generation“ versuchte der Verfasser, aufbauend auf dem Entwicklungspotenzial Jordaniens und im Hinblick auf die theoretischen Handlungsempfehlungen, diese Hindernisse zu reduzieren bzw. das Humankapital und das Unternehmertum, trotz dieser Hindernisse und ohne zusätzliche Kosten zu fördern. Mit diesem Konzept versuchte der Verfasser, die Entwicklung einer neuen Generation anzustoßen, die sich der Bedeutung von Gleichberechtigung, Bildung, Forschung und Innovationen für Wachstum und Entwicklung bewusst ist. Das hohe Entwicklungspotenzial Jordaniens und der große politische Wille in Jordanien ebnen den Weg für weitere Initiativen und Entwicklungsprojekte wie zum Beispiel das Konzept „Konstruktion einer neuen unternehmerischen Generation“. Der Weg, den Jordanien eingeschlagen hat, und die erhofften Vorteile dieses Konzeptes sind nicht nur auf Jordanien beschränkt. Alle anderen arabischen Länder können bei der Befolgung der richtigen Entwicklungspolitik Erfolge erzielen. Die Erfahrungen anderer Volkswirtschaften und Länder sowie viele gute Theorien und nützliches Wissen können zur Gestaltung einer erfolgversprechenden Entwicklungspolitik herangezogen werden und von großem Nutzen sein. Dieses Wissen ist vorhanden, gefragt ist die richtige Umsetzung dieses Wissens. Dafür sind politischer Wille, hochqualifiziertes Humankapital, gut durchdachte nationale Strategien sowie unternehmerische Eigenschaften und Fähigkeiten notwendig. Es geht um das Können, das Wollen und das Dürfen.
