Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit sogenannten Quarklets und ihren Eigenschaften. Insbesondere untersuchen wir die nahezu optimale Approximationen von explizit und implizit gegebenen L_2-Funktionen mit hp-Baumstrukturen basierend auf Quarklets. Wir entwickeln mehrere adaptive Methoden im Kontext von partiellen Differentialgleichungen und demonstrieren ihre Konvergenzraten hoher Ordnung in numerischen Experimenten.
