During this work the possibility of synthesizing main group substituted phosphinidenes starting from NHC-stabilized phosphinidenides was investigated. Herein, phosphinidenides of the form [(NHC)PK] were used (NHC = SIMes, SIDipp). In this work group 13, 14 and 15 substituted NHC-stabilized phosphinidenes were synthesized and characterized by means of x-ray structure analysis, 1H-, 13C-, 31P-NMR, IR-spectroscopy and elemental analysis. In addition, various NHC-stabilized K/P-clusters were synthesized, which show solubility in toluene, in contrast to the NHC-stabilized phosphinidenides.
