In this diagnostic study 324 patients have been included which have been referred to the cardiac clinic of the university of Marburg. For collecting the data, patients have been asked for signs and symptoms and all information of clinical tests have been collected. The diagnostic accuracy of the patient’s history, risk factors and the diagnostic finding were the focus of the study. Calculated values are sensitivity, specificity, likelihood ratios and odds ratios. Around 50% of the patients examined suffered under chest-pain, almost 60% had already CHD. A notable fact is, that 78% of the examined patients had been male. The only significance was the correlation to the CHD, proven by an odds ratio of 4.12. The result aligns with other published studies in the field of consideration. In primary care more significant factors have been found. Clinical Patients in the clinical The pretest probability of clinical patients is much higher than the pretest probability of primary care patients. Which leads to the conclusion that the diagnostic accuracy of patients history in clinical is small.
