• Anna Christina Scheiter, Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Marburg

  Anna Christina Scheiter is a PhD candidate at the department of Arabic Literature and Culture at the University of Marburg and works as a research assistant in the Figures of Thought|Turning Points research group. After completing her MA with a thesis entitled ‘Silence as a Means of Communication in Syrian Literature’, she is currently working on her dissertation project on memory discourses and their transformations in modern Syrian novels.
