Ines Braune, Arab Studies
is an assistant professor at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS) at Philipps-University Marburg. She holds a PhD in Arabic Studies from Leipzig University and has a background in media studies. Her research interests include cultural studies, media and youth in the Arab world. Achim Rohde
is the scientific coordinator of the research network “Re-Configurations: History, Remembrance and Transformation Processes in the Middle East and North Africa” at Philipps-University Marburg. He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Free University Berlin. His research interests include the modern and contemporary history of the MENA region, in particular Iraq and Israel/Palestine, as well as the history of Oriental Studies in Germany. email: achim.rohde@staff.uni-marburg.de
