is a research associate in the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies at Marburg University. She has studied Assyriology, Semitic Studies and Ancient History at Munich University where she obtained her M.A. in 2006, and is currently preparing the publication of her dissertation (delivered in 2012) on the transmission, ways of use, and relevance of Sumerian in the Kassite Period (ca. 1600-1150 BC).
