Areej Allawzi
is an assistant professor of translation studies in The Department of English Language and Literature at The University of Jordan. Allawzi earned her Bachelor of English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan. She then obtained her Masters in Translation (English-Arabic) from the University of Salford in the United Kingdom. Allawzi received her doctorate in translation from Durham University. Allawzi has been working as an assistant professor at the University of Jordan since 2015. As a researcher, Allawzi is interested in translation, media and conflict and postcolonial translation.
