Description
Summary:Around 12 million unauthorized immigrants live in the United States. The present work doesn´t see the situation of undocumented immigrants in the USA as an “all-or-nothing affair”. It analyses unauthorized migration as an act of civil disobedience, and this category is given fresh significance through the study of the migrants’ struggle for inclusion. This work stresses the active role of the undocumented in everyday life and seeks to make visible the political nature of actions that usually are not considered as such.
