Explaining the literary relations of Ex 23,1-9, the dissertation deals with the following points: (1) the different forms of sentence in Ex 23,1-9 (prohibitive, vetitive, if-you-form, motive clause); (2) the social background of each verse (the false testimony as a witness or the false testimony in the accusation, the danger of opportunism in the court, the love of enemy, the oppression of the social minority in the court, the ger-problem, the bribery, god as judge), (3) the theologisation of the law as a reaction to the social crisis; (4) the wisdom – prophetic influence in the forming of Ex 23,1-9.
The dissertation attempts to fill the gap of the previous studies, examining the above-mentioned points with regard to the treated text, because they paid more attention to the literary problems.
