Summary:
In the present work different methods and possibilities for the modification, functionalization, and structuring of poly(p-xylylene) (PPX) poylmeres were presented. The polymer was changed in its molecular structure by copolymerization approaches, modified on the surface of a film obtained via chemical vapor deposition (CVD), or porcessed via electrospinning and template methods.
